NYFW IS ALMOST HERE!

September is upon us...

With September fast upon us, the realisation that work/school did actually once exist in our lives returns. So too does the realisation that it will at some point start getting colder. But fear not! There is a light at the end of the tunnel, Mary Katrantzou seems to have effortlessly married warmth and practicality with bold and vivacious colour; allowing us to enjoy that last little bit of summer whilst the months start getting colder.

Street Style at London Fashion Week

Here are a few street style images I took whilst interning at London Fashion Week. Just looking at some of the outfits people were wearing whilst walking around Somerset House was amazing!

LONDON FASHION WEEK: PPQ and Bora Aksu shows

So for the past few days I've been interning at LFW and had the chance to watch the Bora Aksu show and the PPQ show. I've added a couple of pictures up here, but must apologise for the poor quality pictures, I only had my camera phone to rely on!

Mary Katrantzou for TOPSHOP

"Another day, another exciting collaboration, this time in the form of the S/S ‘12 Mary Katrantzou for Topshop. those clever Topshop pixies, have her designing a 14 piece collection that is sure to sell like hot cakes! the photograph above has hit the twitter world by storm! leaked accidently from the Topshop press day, it shows just how the designer found inspiration for her spring/summer ’12 Topshop collection.. from her own autmen/winter '11 mainline collection, and this bubble hemmed, lampshade skirted dress boasts all the makings of a Mary K classic! great news for fans of  Mary Katrantzou’s designs who don’t have the pennies to get their paws on one of her runway faberge egg-inspired designs, as this one is a looker for her £8000 odd, Katrantzou’s demi-couture jewel tree dress..
it’s been confirmed that this particular dress will retail at £350 available from feb 2012. and whilst it’s not the first time Mary’s created a collection for Topshop.. this will undoubtedly be the biggest yet."
